Carrie Chapman Catt first proposed a League of Women Voters to "finish the fight" and work to end all discrimination against women. The League of Women Voters was founded on Valentine's Day in 1920, six months before the ratification of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote.

On February 25 at 7:00 p.m. Northwest Ohio Community Shares is hosting a Wine and Beer tasting fundraiser “Share A Glass.” Proceeds benefit Northwest Ohio Community Shares, a federation of 25 local non-profit organizations that address a wide range of needs in our community. Community Shares is one of the League’s major funders.
